Welcome to Cometomy.com.au. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Cometomy and its related services.

By accessing or using Cometomy, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Cometomy

Cometomy is an Australian online platform that allows users to create events, discover events, invite participants, RSVP, communicate with organisers and share event information.

Cometomy provides technology only. We do not organise, supervise, manage or control events unless expressly stated.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of using the platform and responsible for your own account activity. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining your account security. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, appear fraudulent or create risk for other users.

4. Events

Event organisers are solely responsible for event accuracy, venue selection, safety, legal compliance, permits, insurance, refunds, communications and attendee management.

5. RSVPs

An RSVP represents an intention to attend. It does not guarantee entry, reserve a place, create a contract or act as a ticket unless specifically stated by the organiser.

6. Payments

If paid events are offered, payments may be processed by third-party providers. Organisers are responsible for their own pricing, refund policies and attendee disputes unless otherwise stated.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. By using Cometomy, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, display and distribute your content as necessary to operate and promote the platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Cometomy to break the law, harass others, impersonate others, create fake events, send spam, upload malware, misuse private information, infringe copyright or interfere with platform operations.

9. Community Standards

We may remove events, profiles, photos, comments, messages or accounts that breach these Terms, breach the law, mislead users or create safety concerns.

10. Intellectual Property

All Cometomy software, logos, branding, graphics, designs, text and platform features remain the property of Cometomy or their respective owners.

11. Third-Party Services

Cometomy may integrate with third-party services including maps, payment providers, SMS providers, email providers, analytics tools and authentication providers. We are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Availability

We aim to keep Cometomy available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, outages and updates may occur.

13. Safety

Users attend events at their own risk. Cometomy does not verify venues, organisers, attendees, activities, safety standards or event suitability.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Cometomy, its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for injury, death, property damage, lost profits, event cancellations, organiser conduct, attendee conduct, venue issues or third-party actions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Cometomy against claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from your events, content, conduct, breach of these Terms or infringement of another person's rights.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, enforce these Terms or comply with legal obligations.

17. Privacy
